Paramedics treating baby Burhan bitten by stray dogs at anti-rabies clinic at Shri Maharaja Hari Singh (SMHS) hospital in Srinagar,Indian controlled Kashmir.
At least 5 school going children were bitten by stray dogs in outskirts of Srinagar.
According to officials, Srinagar city has 60,000 stray dogs.
Health authorities say 70,500 people - mostly children - have been bitten by stray dogs in the 10 districts of Indian-administered Kashmir in the past Six years.
In 2008, authorities in Indian Kashmir cancelled plans to poison nearly 100,000 stray dogs as part of an anti-rabies program, after protests from animal rights groups.
